Gerald L. Snyder 1931-2005

This has been the hardest day of my life. I know it was for my mom and my brother and sister too. We let Dad go today. He is in the hands of God and we know that now he is at peace. I miss him so much already and I know that will never stop. There are a few things that bring me comfort even in this deeply sad time. First, Dad loved to spend time with us at the beach and he got to do that over the 4th of July. Also one month ago, my parents celebrated 50 years of marriage and that is a great accomplishment, something to be very proud of indeed. Dad knew a lot of people, and had many friends. He liked kids and they got a kick out of him too. He was loved by so many, his passing is a loss to us all. My heart is so heavy, but we know that God loves my Dad and my entire family so we take comfort in that as well. What gives me the most comfort is that Dad loved me and he knew that I loved him because I told him so. Tell the people that you care for that you love them. There's never a wrong time and you can't say it enough. Tell them, don't wait.

Tana-

Dave and I would like to express our deepest heartfelt sympathy with the loss of your dad. Our hearts ache also with his passing. It is going to be a very lonely street. Our prayers have and will be with you and your family for many months to come. Know that God is the healer of us all and he will get all of us through these tough times ahead. We want you to know that we will keep a good eye on your mom when you're not around, because we love her alot. They were a very special pair. Let us know if there is anything we can do. Take care of yourself.

God Bless you and Jack.
Love,
Dave and Diana
