Puppy Shenanigans

I meet new people all the time. It has come to a point where I no longer feel that I have to explain that I've been through cancer treatment. Before it was obvious that something was going on. Even though shaving your head might be a fashion trend right now, that was not my excuse, although I can be a slave to fashion. haha. Now when the subject does come up people say, " Wow, you really went through that?" I have to stop and think.....wow, I really did. It is very close to the 2 year anniversary of my diagnosis. Good news on that front. I saw my oncologist on tuesday and we reviewed my most recent blood work which is all normal. I breathe a sigh of relief as I do each time I get a good result. I will have a mammogram next month and I hope to feel the same way. As Spring approaches I try to view life through my puppy dog's eyes. Some things are scary, but most of the time they are new and exciting.

Jet is doing great and growing. It seems like he grows by the hour. We spend half of our time yelling "NO!" and the other half saying, "Awwww, he's so cute." Balance remember?
So as you celebrate your inner Leprechaun this weekend remember to balance out your green beer drinking with a nice long nap.

"May you live as long as you want and never want as long as you live." -Irish Blessing

Bottoms up!
